Exultnet Bookkeeping Integration · Last updated 14 September 2026
This policy covers the Exultnet Bookkeeping Integration (the “Application”), a private internal tool operated by Exultnet LLC. The Application is not offered to the public, is not sold or licensed to any third party, and connects only to accounting records belonging to Exultnet LLC itself.
When authorized, the Application reads accounting data from the Exultnet LLC QuickBooks Online company file through Intuit’s Accounting API. This may include the chart of accounts, transactions, vendors, customers, invoices, bills, payments and standard financial reports.
All such data belongs to Exultnet LLC. The Application does not access QuickBooks data belonging to any other business or individual, and no other business or individual is able to connect to the Application.
Accessed data is used solely for Exultnet LLC’s own bookkeeping, financial review and tax preparation. It is not used for advertising, profiling, resale, model training, or any purpose unrelated to maintaining the company’s own books.
The Application is operated through an AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic) connected via Intuit’s official QuickBooks Online MCP server. When an authorized user asks a question about the company’s books, the relevant accounting data is transmitted to Anthropic’s API over TLS so that the assistant can analyze it and return a result.
Specifically:
Data retrieved by the Application is stored locally on computing equipment controlled by Exultnet LLC. Authentication credentials, including OAuth client secrets and refresh tokens, are stored in the operating system keychain and are never written to source control or transmitted to any third party.
Financial records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and recordkeeping law, and deleted or archived thereafter.
We do not sell, rent or trade data obtained through the Application. It is disclosed only in these circumstances:
Access to the Application and to the systems that store its data is restricted to authorized Exultnet LLC personnel. Credentials are held in the operating system keychain, transport to Intuit occurs over TLS, and the connected Intuit account is protected by multi-factor authentication.
Authorization may be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online, under Settings → Apps, or by contacting us at the address below. On revocation the Application ceases all access to the QuickBooks company file.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated revision date.
